Leadership and Executive Council

The Executive Council of PANACCTI is made up of both continental and national executives. The Secretary General is the continental head who presides over all meetings while the national level is coordinated by the Country Director. National Executives work closely with Chamber staff, providing expertise and support in the conduct of Chamber's Affairs at national level based on the directive of the Secretary General of Chamber. The council is responsible for reviewing, advising, recommending and guiding the Secretariat's strategy in engaging the private sector across Africa.

The council meets once in a year at the level of General Assembly or at an extra-ordinary General Assembly as the case may be for the purpose of assessing of the organization's growth and performances. The composition of the General Assembly is made up of the Board Members, Advisory Governing Council, Continental Executives and National Executive leaderships. Members of the organization can be invited as observers.

The Leadership and member of the PANACCTI Executive Council are elected by the General Assembly to serve a four-year term and they can be re-elected only once. The Presidency or Secretary General seat is rotated among the five blocks – East, West, Central, South, and North.

The Structure – Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General, each block has a Regional Director as an executive to represent the region. Executive committees play a strong advisory role, hence the need for the Council Committee to ensure strong and focused leadership for the Chamber.
